I love how they were able to capture the essence of the Filipino culture in the details of the ambience, the people and especially the food! I love the experience and enjoyed the conversations with the patrons as well. One lady said she keeps coming back because she feels at home when she’s there. I enjoyed brunch, can’t wait for the dinner experience!

Walking into this cafe you are met with warm and caring faces and Filipino music. At the front near the entrance you walk by a delicious pastry case where you are able to pick out a starting dish to enjoy with your latte or other warm or iced beverage. Shortly after ordering your food arrives and is actually a larger portion than you may have imagined. This was a fantastic Filipino inspired dining experience and I highly recommend.

The food and dining experience at Hiraya was marvelously good! The flavors were genuinely Filipino. Presentation of each dish was unique and given much thought. Ambiance is marked by elegance and skillful design. Truly, the food, service and interiors are fantabulous! We are definitely coming back to try their other dishes. Kudos to Chef Paolo. Cheers to his staff. Five Stars!

Incredible experience! My brother was able to snag last minute reservations for the chef’s counter. Each dish was crafted with care- you can really that the entire staff is passionate about what they do. Superb elevated Filipino cuisine. At the end of the experience, we were able to chat with the owner! Highly recommend!

We got the 8 course tasting menu and a cocktail each. All the dishes were thought out beautifully and the presentations were gorgeous. The progression of courses made perfect sense too. The grilled octopus course, the curried pumpkin ravioli, and the tofu pudding were *chef's kiss* The drinks were delightful and dangerously delicious. Our server was an absolute joy and we had a wonderful time.

The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Filipino flavors. I particularly loved the Lobster, which was cooked to perfection with seasoning that were each distinguishable but not overwhelming. It was so amazing. The service was excellent, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall experience. I highly recommend Hiraya to anyone looking for a unique taste of the Philippines right here in Dc. I can't wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes!

We went to the upstairs bar. The drinks are really good. The bread and butter was amazing. The menu didn't have many vegetarian options. I recommend coming here.

Hiruaya is this cute place! I live the location and the fact that it's a perfect place to work from. Their matcha is recreating and it's calming in there.

We opted for Hiraya's *EIGHT COURSE TASTING MENU * 145 pp. There a plenty of options to choose from their "A la carte" menu (shareable) but 8-course tasting is highly recommended! *EIGHT COURSE TASTING MENU * 145 pp includes the ff: Nilaga: aged beef bone broth.
